Damn it, Salesforce is so quick with releasing new features that I’m not able to keep up and read the documents before the actual release. Never mind, reading it after makes some sense as well so I can use the new functionalities in the future.
What catch my attention this time?
- 985 pages – I probably didn’t see such long release notes in a while. Did they just added another cloud in or is there really so many new functionalities?
- tons of changes in Agentforce, which receives a monthly updates;
- Agentforce can reply to customer’s emails autonomously, is the time when user had to confirm everything over?
- Agentforce can use a custom Lightning Types in responses, which makes the output much more readable;
- Tableau Next introduced with its monthly updates, suprisingly there are also plenty of enhancements in CRM Analytics, I’m really curious when those products will be merged;
- plenty of enhancements in B2B and D2C Commerce, I almost wonder how people have been doing some of those things before – hey, now we can embed video, show products which are not on stock or hover over an image;
- setting up object access right from the object manager, no need to go into profiles/permission sets and set it one by one;
- when switching between list view you can search for their names!
- Dynamic Formulas in Apex looks super handy, the way how they structure the example is kind of weird – used a lot outside of SF documentation, but I probably never saw it in release notes in this format;
- debug logs is not being generated anymore during metadata deployment – and I wondered last week why I don’t see it! There is a new checkbox in Apex Settings to enable it;
- new Metadata Coverage Report in a new location (why?);
- Heroku AppLink, which we saw at CzechDreamin, looks super sleak and great replacement of Functions (retired). And it looks so simple I might have a usecase for that somewhere, at least just to speed up data processing;
- I’m surprised they still adding a new features into Aura components and must admit that the hideProvince and countryLookupFilter looks handy;
- Aura sites has been enforced with modernized look such as buttons and error messages at different place. Not sure I appreciate that;
- capacity planning in Field Service finally brings some clarity into how many technicians I need;

- volunteer management (add-on) in NonProfit Cloud;
- OmniStudio new design (and new design of standard flows);
- LinkedIn integration update – you need to relink it otherwise it will stop syncing leads with LinkedIn Forms;
- Einstein Activity Capture allows you to save emails as Activities – consuming space but also allow reporting or flow triggering, just enable it. And I will probably give this feature a green light then (still have mental problem that it will save all emails while only some of them are useful);
- get related records in a flow seems powerful, but still beta with limitation (and for some reason I didn’t see it in my org);
- screen actions in flows to streamline the user experience and minimalize the number of screens they need to go through;
- the ability to customize the size of each component in screen flow is amazing and add for a better look and feel;
- icons in drop down fields in screen flow! And visual picker! (I know, it was available before through the UnofficialSF)
- Send Email action got completely new look (and looks great!), allows to attach files to the email as well, but somehow forgot to solve the deployment between environments 🙁 (see comments);
- the debug is awesome as well;

- approval flow generation – I really need to put my hands on it and actually have a use-case right now, where I can try it;
- Single Sign-On registration handler can now be done via flow (historically you had to put together some Apex);
- Business Hours Age on cases can be enabled without support intervention;
- Close Case button – I probably never noticed the urgency for this button, but there was an idea for it. Also the list of limitations is weird;
- Milestones/Entitlements setup has been redone and should be much simplified;
