How we did it
Microsoft is doing series "How we did it" and it is something I'm quite missing in Lotus community - the success stories (and I mean something different than references) which goes more in details. Some of them are better and more deep while others just flying on top of the problem. Anyway, I like it.

How we did it
But Martin, Lotus community has Lotus Symphosium, which was in this year full visual demonstrations. I think, that references are the same as "How we did it". It's basically illustration, how partners solves requirements of customers. And it's exactly reference :D
Re: How we did it
Don't think so, this is more technically deep and that's what I'm missing. Symposium was full of demonstration (and you were able to see about 4 of them due to 2 tracks which isn't to much for a whole year) and after all you can see - I like it but how the hell they did it?
And as far as I agree it sounds strange to show my tips and tricks I think that when I show something good someone else would show something different and important for me. So - don't care too much about your secret tips, just give them away.
How we did it
Oh, for customers are very important results. On the oposite side, for partners is very important "know how". When I say: for this result you must do "this". After that the customer can say me, that he will able to do it himself.
Truth is somewhere in the middle :D
Re: How we did it
Customers are usually more than happy that you'll do it for them and partners maybe will use your knowhow than fiddle with it on their own. But it is a bit about fair play as well.
How we did it
Yes, I agree with you, but I know the customers, that they rather do it alone without help, "because it is cheaper", they are saying :))
Bey, I wish you nice weekend
