The place where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed in 1840, which guarantees the rights of Maori and non-Maori citizens in New Zealand. We went to Treaty Grounds, where you can get more information about Maori's culture, learn some Maori words and saw the place, where the Treaty was signed as well as the original residency and learn a bit more about history here.

The campground at Sandspit is really nice. It is placed in old city location and there is still a lot of old building, which gave a nice atmosphere to this place. Some of them are even converted for n
We woke up early. Some of us even earlier, because Tomas' mobile automatically changed time due to daylight saving and he didn't want to wake up - it is just 6am and we agreed to wake up at 7am. Anywa
The alarm woke us up at 5:30 and it was that shocking as I expected - we went to bed around midnight. It is really cold, we took almost all our clothes on us, had a quick breakfast and moved to the vi
A lot of action today - paddling on Matakitaki river, Buller swingbridge and jetboats and finally jump the Maruia Falls. Wow, what an amazing movie.
Woke up quite early, despite the evening/nightly Pete's visit. Quickly made custard for a breakfast and moved a few meters to White Island Tours, who are the
Back to North Island and have two weeks to see the rest of it - looks like not too much of time.
We got up a bit late, which isn't surprise as we went to bed around 3am, when we found place near s
Another party - Tomas had name day yesterday and we another reason to celebrate. It means we went sleep today and woke up around 9am. Eggs and bacon for breakfast - that sounds really good and can jus
It may sounds like a good idea to crisscross the country as many times as possible. And we thought the same and decided to do the Arthur's Pass to prove that there are still sandflies on West Coast.
We slept for ages - guys finally found some beer with alcohol inside and managed to drink the whole box of them. Which took some time and even longer before they were able to exist. Never mind, it rai
Edwin Fox museum, sea kayaking at Abel Tasman National Park and Farewell Spit - we covered a lot of interesting attractions in this part.
Just to save all my Twitter messages from this trip. They are from newest to oldest one.

Last hour in Seoul and then a few hours flight to Munich.
Sometimes you just cannot believe in what you see. I had the same feeling when we arrived into Dunedin, quickly checked local information centre and returned back to our car. Some homeless guy came to us and we had the feeling "he wants some money".
From Milford Sound we headed south, to the southermost point of local highway system (which in fact means normal road, maybe 3 class in Czech Republic). Went through Tuatapere, the sausage capital of
Time to move from Queenstown - next destination Milford Sound. But before that we had time to do another river - the Citroen rapid on Kawarau river. Went there with our friends who do it almost every day and it was pretty good, even there is really just one short rapid. Anyway, it was perfect exercise for our hangover :-)
Tuesday, our first day in the serie of days full of adrenaline. Adrenaline is also the ground for which is Queenstown famous during the whole year. In winter they have even snow here and skiing a lot
Another part is here, this time from Napier (possums, city and fish&chips) and Wellington (Beehive, cable car & museum, Te Papa museum). Enjoy.
We woke up a bit later, our party was a bit longer than we expected. Packed everything, had a short walk around nice surroundings and it was time to move. On our way to Queenstown we stopped in neares
Get out early again, but weren't able to compete with Katka and Misa (the two Czech's chicks from yesterday) who hit the road before us (didn't matter they wake up at the same time). Wanaka, our next stop wasn't far enough and just at the beginning of this small village we spotted the Puzzling World.
We were leaving Fox village pretty early, at least in our eyes. Heading directly to Jackson Bay, which is the most southern settlement on West Coast. There is a nice walk around and Ocean Beach near by so we took a quick stroll there to see it.
Third movie from our trip is here. No adrenaline today, enjoy anyway.
